Speedo not working?

cable driven or eletrictronic?
If it is cable operated try checking the speedo gear. it is located on the left side of the trans at the tailstock. I replaced mine on my 1989 f350. I believe it is held in with one 10mm bolt. Remove the bolt and pull the cable out of the trans. There should be a gear on the end. The gear is held on with a clip at the base of the gear. If it is an electronic sender try checking the sending unit. I believe it is located on the top of the rear end. Hope this helps, let me know and good luck
