I've been doing a lot of searching for these two codes and see a lot of info regarding the throttle body elimination. My problem is that I need the check engine light GONE because I need to get an emissions test. Im not having drivability concerns (butterfly flap has been removed)...just this irritating CEL. Does anyone know where I can buy a new throttle plate motor and sensor or know of someone who can write a program eliminating the throttle body completely?

I have read of guys that replaced the EGR valve and got rid of both codes.
Also, check the throttle position sensor, if your truck has one, for oil contamination.
Ex's are a crap shoot so often, never know if it was an early or late build in the 05's.
