Xtreme Diesel
We had a new station open in our town and they have these banners all around the station. Never heard of them. But it seems interesting since they also have def pumps.
I've been a loyal customer to our small town diesel station since they probably put out at least 1000 gallons a day since most fleets fill up there and it's right around the corner from my work so very convenient. I've never had an issue with water in the last year of having my truck, and consistently use pm-22 and pm-23 during cold months.
The new station doesn't have anywhere near the amount of traffic as the old station, not sure if it's just because it's new and a little harder to access. So that makes me a little curious if they would have moisture in their fuel since it's obviously sitting longer. I've filled up there 2 times and kind of like the fact that I wouldn't have to spend as much on additives, but will it cause harm further down the road meaning moisture? When we go into single digits at night I mix the 23 at half strength since both places have winter blend of fuel.
Anyways opinions and thoughts appreciated. Here's some pics of their logos. Oh and their prices are the same as other stations in the area.
Cetane boost - nice, but what’s the actual rating?
Everybody winterizes their fuel, it’s more a matter of when. I add anti-gel the first couple weeks of freezing temps to allow all the stations to “catch up”, after that I don’t treat my fuel.
If the newer station has higher cetane rating and the bathroom is cleaner, I’d go there.
No kidding, even more interesting is the XDP has all their trademarks as current and valid. The above picture despite the TM after it is abandoned and dead soooooo I wonder what's the real story here?
