many thanks on the tip for the bed, something I will keep in mind. Luckily had had no such sag. I just remembered being told that. So much for the steamer idea.
i know this isnt a bed forum, but keep most the moisture from the bed. Bad idea on the steamer. Those beds have tons of anti microbial additives because of those bladders.
Im a chemist for a polyurethane foam company, won’t disclose much else in public, but I know a little about their builds.
Wow I dont think that's coming back over time. What trim level are those seats out of curiosity? My car seat in my lariat doesnt leave marks like that and its locked in tight as in zero movement I put all my weight in seat and sinch it in. It leaves slight Mark's but nothing compared to yours. I also have a blanket in my back seat I put the car seat in over though too. Maybe its because the lariat has the cheaper leather and is much harder.
I have been using the seat protectors for 3 car seats in two vehicles over the last 5 years with no movement or safety issues. My most recent ones are the Summer duomat listed above. They aren't quite as thick as some others but can be washed easily in a washing machine.
I really crank my seats down and noticed minimal seat deformation on wife's sienna leather, my old ram cloth or my new 250 vinyl.
I have the same issue in my truck.Looks the same too.Mine has yet to bounce back. All I can do for now Is as soon as im done driving my daughter around I take the seat out,I dont even leave it in over night.
I have used padded seat protectors for both my 2 kids without issue. When the car seat isnproperly installed (more are installed incorrectly), it will not budge/move at all so there really is no downside to having a padded protector.
