Little update here, I did order that Facet pump, eventually I will use it somewhere. I did take that damn Lift pump off about 4 times, after looking at the old one and the new one, it appeared the new one had very light wear impressions where it contacts that crank lobe. I was right. I chucked it up in a vise with a big phillips in the channel so I didnt crush it, and put about a 1/16 inch bend on the end to give it a little more stroke. Thats all it took. Truck starts right up, more power than it ever had. Im sure the new injectors and injector pump helped, but man it had me stumped. Thanks for all the help.
Also our pumps do have a relief hole that will leak diesel if the diaphragm is ruptured, even crazier thing is it had an extra seal on the oil side to keep engine oil from leaking out, my last pump pissed oil out that weep hole.
I've personally not had a diaphragm failure yet, where they crimp it together always wears loose and starts leaking/spraying fuel everywhere for me. Every one of my pumps has failed like that. Guess it's that cheap steel they use now
