My Hitachi E79 finally gave out after all the neglect and abuse I subjected it to over the fast several years and now looking for replacement. Looking for quality, light weight, and reliability. With Sear's current status I am hesitant considering Craftsman but I came across a couple Home Depot options that seem to have favorable customer reviews, either Ridgid or Husky, not familiar with either would appreciate comments or suggestions regarding either or alternative?
I primarily intend using for remodel and or construction and minor automotive use. I have a larger compressor for the heavy work.
I have a Bostich 6 gallon pancake compressor. I've had it for a couple of years now and haven't had any problems with it. It gets a fair amount of abuse.
It came wit ha 16 guage nailer, an 18 guage nailer and a stapler, for just under 300.00,but now I'm seeing Menards has it on sale for under 200.00 for the same set.

The Hitachi also came with construction nailer set, I have a few Bostitch power tools and they have held up well. Found the Bostitch BTF02012 6 gal compressor on Amazon for $100, intend checking it out.
