I have to admit the winter days are a little longer now that we don't have the luxury of following Scott's progress on the crewcab project. I think I understand the reasoning behind his decision to take a hiatus from FTE. I just hope his departure isn't permanent, as his expertise was inspiring and informative. There is a void left in its place.
Thankfully our little corner of the internet appears to have returned to normal, and hopefully we have all learned something from our recent dust-up. Scott was a great contributor, and I too hope that at some point he will return.
Ditto
I always learned stuff from Scott's posts. I know he's active over on the HAMB but I haven't seen a build thread on the crew cab project over there yet.
I sent him an email through FTE asking how he was doing and pretty much saying many of us missed his input and great threads ( with pics) but he never answered.
Scott was a big influence on me taking on such big jobs. My sons and i have learned alot from him.I was glued to this forum when he was doing the Coe.
Hey Tom,
I also miss Scott. I don't know many folks from Montana but it's beautiful country.
Maybe when the weather thaws a bit he'll post an update for us on his great
progress this winter! Some of the other guys are back updating & posting away....
I've got (2) brothers & we get into it occasionally .. make up a few weeks later &
everything is back the way it should be... You are part of a nice family here Scott - always welcome.
I've been away from the forum for a couple years, and am sad to see Scott isn't active! He made a trip up to my house in his GORGEOUS F1. Phenomenal inspiration for this youngin. He was the one to show me the few basics to get my truck up and going for the first time in 36 years!
Where did he go, does anyone know?
Edit - got the info via pm. Don't want to stir dissention, so thanks for the info.
