Wiring question

I am trying to figure out where the wire that comes off the electric choke coil connects to on my 1984 F150. In the first photo I have marked the terminals on the back of the alternator A, and B. Second photo shows a wire that was apparently chewed off by a critter of some sort, I do not know what it is supposed to connect to. I do have a Haynes manual, but it didn't clearly show anything. Can anyone help?

The choke hooks to the darker terminal on top in this picture. You can see the terminals are labeled on the alternator in the case casting. You can just make out "STA" on the top terminal. That stands for stator, that is where the choke wire hooks to.

In my Haynes manual page- 12-31, it shows the white-blk wire connecting to the S terminal of the alternator. TR
