Especially starting out in some of the coldest weather.. At least he will be headed away from the really cold stuff.

 

It was 40F when I left home this morning and the forecast for the inland "valley" is in upper 70s for this afternoon. There is also a possibility of 2-3 clouds during the day as well.

Reminds me of what Gallagher used to say in one of his acts:

Living in California is like living in a bowl of granola. What ain't fruits and nuts is flakes.

View from the hotel this morning. Yes, we hotelled it first. It was entirely too cold to setup the toyhauler. We are staying in Las Cruces this eve at a great little park. I'll have lots of photos then because it's within walking distance of the downtown area that has a few places that offer world-class tacos apparently. It's also going to be 65*, not 15*. I'm going to try to meet up with Adam if he's available.
