King Coilovers

I am having them installed on my 2018 F-250 because of the super-heavy Kelderman alpha bumper I had put on it. Anyone with experience with these? My truck isn’t lifted. We took measurements prior to the bumper install, and it’s settled now for one month. Goal is to restore it to factory. At the time of install, there was a bit over 1/2 inch of sag, probably more by now.

I'm curious how these work out for you. I had 6" lift Fox c/os on my recent F150 and it was a game changer. Now have a Carli pintop level on my F250. Its far better than stock but those c/os were something else! Different front end of course but I'm sure you're going to love it. BTW, it sounds like you need to make some modifications to install them. Also curious how much chopping up it takes. Keep us posted

Coilovers work amazing in IFS front ends, they dont have as much of an advantage in the solid front axles. You lose travel (which we already have very little) and you have to modify the bucket to get it in there. A good spring mounted with a matching rate 2.5 class shock will give you more travel and a more linear spring rate. Although with a coilover you now have room to add a tripple bypass shock in the stock location, which is better than anything else out there because of the variable valving you can play with.

If this is just a street queen....then none of this matters, it'll still ride great.

I used them to level my gas F250 with full winch bumper and 16.5lb winch with wire rope and hands down I love them, I tend to drive it like a Mustang in the turns now and hitting the whoops is a blast, im still trying to get them to bottom out but I also run the king secondary shocks as well and I drive like a I stole it most days. I did not change the spring rate so its made for a diesel truck but my truck as it sits now is just shy of 9000lbs and it's a gas truck.

I have King coilovers in the box awaiting my truck's arrival. Checkout this video. When I came across these folks, they seemed knowledgable enough that I ordered mine through them. Call them on the phone. They're great for tweaking everything for exactly how you intend on using it.

So they are on. They also raised the front and reduced the rake so it’s still there but slight.

The King’s make a huge difference in ride. Almost eliminates bumpsteer. Truck floats over small irregularities in the road, handles turns/curves by feeling more planted. Steering feels more in-sync with the road. FYI I came from Fox reservoirs front and back, and an IPS Fox steering stabilizer.

I had added a heavy 16.5 winch bumper, so we went 50 lbs. heavier on the King spring setup. On position 4/twentysomething on the shock. The ride is awesome.

So awesome, I’m going to replace the rears with adjustable Kings and add an ATS stabilizer. Then, I’m done (who am i kidding).

Wheels are black rhino pinotubos and I like the milled accents for this truck’s color. Also offset has them sticking out about 0.5-1” from the wheel well, which looks perfect to me.
