89 f350 Leaf spring hanger holy grail
Hi all,
So i had no problem finding the rear leaf hangers on a few sites. The front leafs need rear hanger brackets. as you may know the front of the front leafs attach under the bumper and have a shackle. They seem fine.
The rear mount under the cab, to the frame. Mine do not however look like the rears which bolt to the face of the frame only. Mine have a shelf that sits under the frame for added support. I called some online suppliers, and they said for this truck, no aftermarket mount is made. {To be clear I need the front spring rear mounts}
I called a spring place in the city that does dump trucks and heavy equipment, he said bring it by. Picture me driving this monster, both mounts rotted out, and one rear mount same. He looks at the truck and says," i've never seen an f350 look like this?" been doin this for 40 years. he said the front leafs are 3" wide, rears are 2.25. truck it setup to haul 15,000lbs he says. Ok, thats great but can you fix it? He says Ford will have the parts.
Here is my question:
Anyone have new old stock mounts available?
Anyone run into this issue and use another part number that worked?
Here is the truck info:
1989 f350 dump body dually
7.3 IDI 5 speed manual. 4 wheel drive
Thanks guys!

You've obviously not spoken to my ex, my judges, my prosecutors, or my bondsmen. LOL No problem, just thought I would throw it out there.
