Thank you. I'll investigate it. I've seen Sher they mate a late modle 6.7 to the Ex. CABT does the best work I've seen. He also charges appropriately.

I agree. Tall and skinny is bad....except for girlfriends

The 2005 is about 1.5 inches higher and the Bilstein kit is also 1.5 lift for Bout 3 inches total lift in the front.
The rear will be leveled to the front with 2 inch's +/-. Add the 35 tires, which will be as wide as a 12.5 wheel can handle and I believe I'll be about stock in ratio. At least that's what the math is coming up with.

I didn't see where you mentioned the ratio in the new axles, what are they?

This is my math, I assume no responsibility for it.....

The stock bumper height is 15"
The stock tire width is 10.4"
A .69 ratio

New bumper height is 20"
New tire width is 14"

New ratio is .7

With the added weight of the new axel, calipers, tires and wheel (estimated) 70# per front wheel, and having as much rubber on the ground as stock and more weight I feel like i am in no more danger of a roll over than i was at stock.

This is a street rig with the ability to bug out offroad is required, I would not use this formula for an off road rig. What I have read and been told, I am safe at these measurments.

Oops, I saw the word "ratio" and though about the gear ratio, my bad. I thought that you were looking to have the same effective gear ratio with the taller 35"s as it had on the stock 31.6" tires due to a deeper ratio in the replacement axles. A slightly hopped up 6.0 shouldn't really have much issue running 35"s with the stock 3.73 ratio, but of course a deeper 4.10 would allow for a bit better giddy up!

Got it.
Ill be re-gearing to in the future but for now the 3.73 is good enough.

With a Dana 60 in the front and wanting a bit of off the line speed I have looked at 4.56 or 4.88. I will not be towing anything heavy anytime soon.

Check this out, hipped me to what is available to my rig.

Its been a long while since I updated you all on the progress.

First off, nothing is as easy as youtube makes it out to be.

This is the mocked up of the axel. There were some factory holes, some needed to be drilled. Also here is the first pic of the fender mocked up.
Later in the build I opted for an ARB locker in the front diff. There is a TON of opinions on frnt/rear/both. I had the front out and decided it was the time to do it if I was going to. Fronts are, I am told and believe, harder to drop and install than rears.

The headlights are mocked in here. You can see the tire, 35-12.5-18 Nitto.
A huge problem that was unknown at this point was the windshield wipers. The McNasty kit was not so clear with instruction or part numbers. It has since been resolved.

Here is the kit mocked up and confusing as hell.

Either way it was 8 hours of trial and error, on my dime, to set it up. Ill try to find finish pics.

Free air compressor with the air locker and a 2 gallon air tank.

The from bumper is my design. I wanted an open winch. Got the Smitty 17.5. Not the best of the best but well made and reasonable for what you get, Cost $625 +/-.

The 2" reciver in the clamp is for a.......

Chair! This is a swivel boat seat. There are actually 2, one on each side. I plan to surf-fish, bow-hunt and duct tape my enemies like Mad Max.

Here is the front end complete with steering and sway installed.

This is a power fold Rock Country mirror. No option on fold and extend so i opted for the fold.

It works with the adjustment switches.

Here is the front bumper supports from the under carriage.

Here ai the wiper cowl done.

Another Chair shot....

If you look out the door on the picture you will see the doors for the passenger side. I had to buy another Ex and hack it apart for the body panels.

So this is where I am at today May 8th, 2019. Hoping to get all the wiring done and drop to body in 2 weeks.

Here is the paint and logo-
Since the truck was green prior I am opting for a military flat green wrap. I think this will match up good.

The logo is all me. Hate it or not, i am rolling my faith and county.

Did the books and paid the bills, Total investment to complete, $40K. I have seen less trucks for more and never for truck for less.

I will upload the finish pics in 3-4 weeks. Shabbat Shalom.

Here is where I got them and how much I paid. They really make the aggressive front end look I wanted.
