You know I was looking really hard for a Crew cab, but then I though to myself this is my truck, we already have a family vehicle that more than fits us, and at any given time there is maybe 4 people in my current truck (95 2500 Ram so doesn't even have the back half doors).
I'm keeping my current truck, my wife has her minivan that we use when hauling everyone, our daughter is getting old enough that she can ride the bus home and be home by herself for a bit before me or my wife get home rather than being picked up, so I was looking at the regular cab long beds. It looks like a nice classic truck to me. Seeing these Supercab long beds makes we want to maybe look at them too!
Regular cab and SuperCab remind me of older trucks. For some reason the new CrewCab does not, even though I know crew cab has been around forever.
Thanks Baldicon
Nick112288,
I almost went with a F350 Lariat Ultimate CrewCab almost 10K off before tax/lic.. I thought that was a great deal but stuck with my liking to the SuperCab/LongBed body. Same reasons, I have 3 other vehicles and am usually driving alone 95% of the time. Sometimes the dog or wife ride but that's about it. Slightly better turning then the CrewCabs, minus the special 450 turning radius, Super Cab F350 Lariat is the highest trim you can get on a DRW SCLB.If they made F450s in the same style I would have gotten that instead. This will mainly look pretty on the farm hauling the tractor and harvests on the walnut or persimmon farms. I also got the PTO option, compressor and generator most likely to that that space.SuperCabs also offer the space behind to recline the seat and load more items you rather not have in the open bed. I've slept in the drivers seat on trips numerous times so a RegCab would be very uncomfortable tho I also like the look as well.
