can I fix this or do I have to search for a new switch...??? I drive this thing daily...need this done a.s.a.p....someone said it maybe the contacts but I am not electrically inclined....need a walk-through if possible......the switch is right here in front of me.
P.S. I live in miami...it rains every day this time of year. If there is an electrician out there with a quick-fix i`ll be most appreciative...
P.S.S....Standing by.....
I had the same problem with my 65. I found a 2 speed motor and switch from a 72 and swapped out the whole thing. Best I can remember it was a direct bolt for bolt swap.
BeSee, Read the technical article I wrote on this subject! Its posted on the front page of this site. The switch is not the problem, the park switch in the motor is shot. Junk yard parts and a few minutes with crimp connectors and a hack saw are all you need to get delay and two speed wipers. You can also hook in the push wash feature on the same switch. If you must have stock two speed switch and motor, e-mail me off line.
