Trying to Restore??
Me and my Dad are wanting to do some restoration on his old farm truck which is a "64" ford custom cab(v-8).
1st I am trying to slow him down on this process because he is wanting to just make a few minnor changes when it really needs alot of TLC.
2nd It's his truck,he bought it in "65" from a friend and has had it ever since.And for a farm truck he has took very good care of it.The same paint inside and out,no rust and is still pretty dependable.
3rd Where can I get some info on buying parts;like manuels and where I can buy some original parts?
It has all of the original crome and such but is missing some hub caps and some of the mirrors are ruined and needs new glass or just a new mirror.
I know this can be an enjoyable experiance but I thinking Hot Rod Truck and he is thinking 39 years ago.

I have ordered one or two things from *** Trucks @www.********.com and Obsolete Ford Parts, inc. the first being my preference. There is also a guy named Carpenter I hear alot about, Dennis I think his name is....Check him out on the net and see what happens.....you might get lucky. PS They all have very nice parts manuals......good luck with your dad........
