High pitched squeal
Comes from under the truck 2007 F150 4WD when I start out in the morning. I don't think it's the engine because it doesn't change pitch with rpm. I have tried coasting in Neutral and it's still there. It doesn't go away when I press on the brakes. It lessens when I lightly accelerate and increases in volume when I let off the gas or am driving constant speed. After a while it goes away but is back on the next startup.
First I thought idler pulley, then I thought rear brake pads are worn and the little metal finger is rubbing on the disk, now I'm tending to look at U-joints.
Any ideas?
