Installing a Brake Controller on 05 SD
my truck did non come with a factory brake controller. I installed one using the adapter to plug in the factory harness but still had no brakes. Is there still something missing on the truck even though the harness is there if a brake controller was not equipped from the factory? a relay or a fuse or something?

Relays are required (under the hood -drivers side) for brakes and lights. What controller are you using? Look here toi see what I did with my 05:
