I traded my 05 F350 CC LB SRW in for a 14 F350 CC DRW.
I needed the DRW to haul my truck camper. Camper was to heavy for a srw.
What is everyone running for tires on their DRWs and how do you like them?
I ran BF AT on my 05 and Good Year Duratrac and like the Good Years a lot better, Got a lot more miles out of them.

Reason: spelling
Since you’re in Northern Wisconsin you’re going to want a tire that hooks up extremely well in Winter, I grew up near Door County. I run Cooper’s A/TW’s on my 2wd Dually. They are Cooper’s year round snow tire and I’ve been VERY impressed by them. I currently have just over 43K Miles, rotated 1x, on them and depending on what kind of winter we have and how much I need the truck I may run them until late next Summer. If not I’ll pick 2 for spares. I’ve had my buddy’s Lance 1062 (IIRC) on my truck and the tires were rock solid.
In 2016 we were coming back from Moab towing my Jeep during a Spring snow storm on I70, everyone that was towing was already in 4x4, I thought I’d need to throw chains on to keep going but the truck just kept moving without issue. I climbed the mountains without issue and downhill I was always in control. My buddy has a 6.0L Dually 4x4 and actually switched to the Cooper’s the following weekend after having issues following me in the same storm.
I have the Conti's on mine. Not until I installed the Sulastic shackles did the ride become tolerable for daily driving. I actually have 400 lbs of sand bags in the rear most part of the bed which really smooths the ride. I keep my tires at 110, otherwise the cupping chews them up. And I rotate every 7,000 miles.
I just installed four Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires on the rear of my dually (installed same tires on the front last winter). I do not tow and am 75% highway and these tires are a HUGE difference in how quiet they are over the previous (which were close to the wear bars). Yesterday we received about 6” of snow in the Cincinnati area and they performed wonderfully during my run to the store. Obviously I drove with care, and the tires are brand new, but they were truly impressive on my 2WD truck. Paid $227 each on Tire Rack and free shipping for 245/75-17 E load range.
Michelin will have their next rebate program March 1, as told to me by a Michelin rep. Probably $70 Visa card if you buy four tires.
