1966 Heater Switch

Hi all. I'm looking for a heater switch for my 66 F100 and not having much luck. What I have found is switches for broncos that appear to be identical... has anyone tried using one of these? I'm wondering if the only difference is the length of the cable, which wouldn't be that hard to fix. Bellow is the Bronco switch.

1966 Bronco uses the exact same replacement part number so it seems it would have to be correct. The replacements were longer than the originals.

C5UZ-18578-A (replaced C5TZ-18578-A) .. Heater Switch Assy / Obsolete

1965/66 F100/1100 & N/NT500/1000 (replacement) / 1965/67 Econoline (original) / 1966 Bronco (replacement) / 1969 F800/1000 (replacement).

I rebuilt heater switches in both my '66 F-100 and '61 Falcon. Save for the length of the cable, the switches were the same. Little doubt that early Comet may be the same as well.

P.S. Part numbers would be different due to cable length.
