It finally stoped raining. The road our property is on is so full of potholes you have to weave your way down it. My tractor is pretty much back together. I think tge Mazda is. Be glad when I get it running for 2 reasons 1. Stop using the new Jeep to haul stuff. 2. I cam start on the 250.

What exactly is that now a days? Sorry to hear about the family issues and glad they are straightening out for you.

Decided to get motivated early this morning, I have all the leaves cleaned up from out of the front yard. I kept blowing them into a pile and then it would rain, so I had a fairly large size pile pf leaves to deal with. Stopped by Home Depot yesterday and got a new security light as my old one quit working and I will install that today. I ordered a blower resistor this morning for the dodge blower motor since it only worked on high. I also ordered 2 new brake cables for the 750 4 wheeler, they barely work and are binding from it sitting for so long. I have to repair the little plastic line for the vacuum line going to the vent control, it broke during the heater core install. Hung the blow up outside christmas decorations on the fence to dry and put away later.

That for me is not having to be in 3 places at the exact time and all are 30 miles apart!
Now only one at a time.

Working is normal for me!!!
My yard looks a ton better. Never did get around to working on the Dodge, I worked on my flower beds instead and got them ready for some new pine straw. Home Depot was out of pine straw so I will try again next weekend. We went to Walmart today and got some slime for the 4 wheeler tires. I did get the new security floodlight installed.

Between the low gas prices and being a ton closer to work I am saving a ton of money so I surprised the wife today and told her we were going to Animal Kingdom on Saturday and the Magic Kingdom on Sunday when we go the end of April. I get an extra park day and she likes the Animal Kingdom!! Cancelled the reservation at the T-rex cafe' and changed to the rainforest cafe' in the Animal Kingdom.

They were putting the industrial coating on the concrete floors today at the new store! If we get 3 or 4 more days of dry warm weather and they should have the asphalt laid down. The shelving has arrived and ready for us to put up when the floor coating dries.

The industrial coating should be dry enough to walk on and put up shelving and install equipment in the work bays by Wednesday or Thursday. They started installing the displays in the showroom yesterday. They will have the blacktop laid down by the weekend so it's finally moving along again. Fingers crossed that we can be open by the end of the month.

You are going to go crazy when you dont have to go to a job. Remember back when you were on terminal leave.

Hit a setback on the Mazda the aftermarket injectors did not match. Ordered a set of OEM upgraded rebuilt. Found out thru the Mazda forum that is pretty common.

Got my latest wood working tool/toy in. A 12 inch planer. It thows out some shavings. Had on pine board that was a inch on one end and 2 inch on the other now is 3/4 it .

Some of the short red oak is going to be a 35th anniversary present.

$.89 is stopping me from finishing the tractor. My neighbor called me after New Years said him and his son got bored and put it back together. I said thank you they did not have to , then gave him the bad news that I gad a gear, spacer, and bearing that goes some where between transmission and rear end. Told would be out Saturday. I get out there Saturday his son had already got it back apart. It tskes 4 redneck gearheads to put a tractor together, at first 2 of did a good deal of watching and rear end rolling a jack operation. Once it was back together we all worked on getting everything boltedup and hooked up. There was a hole in the side of the transmission that looked like a hyd line went there. None of us remebere taking any thing out of that hole. One of my neighbors son went to making a plug, the rest kept working. Right after he put the plug in we found out what went there. The range shift lever would not stay in place. There was a operator mechanic discussion about the oldest son who did most of the work said everything was right and hooked up. The 3 of that have used said no it stays in place and feels just Iike the gear shift . I pulled up parts diagram and saw the problem the detent ball and spring goes in that hole, so before the sealant could dry got the homemade plug out. We finished everything else got it fired up. Let the oldest son do a small test drive just around the shop. Everything is working just have to hold in range.
Monday called Wade tractor yea we got some parts in a plastic bag. I thought maybe old parts drove up and got them it was the range detent but the ball got lost. Hopefull the $.89 ball will be in today

I hate set backs especially when you are wanting to get it done.
Attached the trailer to lightning last night to bring the 4 wheeler to work and adjust the carbs and I smelled gear oil. The rear cover is starting to leak but the bolts are tight. Looks like I have a repair job for this weekend. Don't know when it was serviced last if ever so it's probibly not a bad thing.

Wheel bearings are going bad on the 4 wheeler, not sure if it's from sitting for so long or just worn out. It's 60 bucks for all 4 and will be delivered on Friday, I love amazon!!. I got the rear brake cable installed and the rear brakes are working great. Waiting till around 4 to warm it up and then we can adjust the carbs.

tractor is fixed. The right injectors are ordered waiting on refund on the other ones. Got the vinyl windshield on the side by side. That wind was a bear today. The lower end of my creek rerouted itself

I have enough pine from last year to hall and living room maybe dining room.

Sounds like you are makeing progress on the 750.

Glad to hear the tractor is finally fixed, I know you are happy about that..Hope the creek rerouted in a good direction. Getting there on the 750 and I hope this is the last little stuff to finish it up. Now that it has quit raining the paver guy says it's too cold, he says it has to be above 45 degrees. It looks like it could happen next week with no rain and warmer weather. The parts guys are going back today and start putting up the shelves for the parts department now that the floor coating is dry. I am ready to get in there and start getting the service department together.
