How about Costco or just parking in the street aimed towards your garage?

A few years back I painted a makr on the driveway at 25' and know at what door
panel the cutoff needs to be at. So I have a quick check if I am loaded with cargo.
With projectors if the load is back past the rear axle the lights tend to come up.

In other news I think I may of killed my PC today.

Sweet I now know of a place to test my aiming if I ever get ther lights installed! Hehe

I was outside a couple hours ago pulling the fog lights and 2 coyotes were on the edge of the grass watching me. So I decided to get up off my butt and be done for the night.

They were waiting on you to toss some burgers and fries there way.

It's Official! I HATE CHANGING SMOKE DETECTORS BATTERIES.

I worked on them for about two hours and finaly they were happy and gave up on the "My Battery Is Dead" Chirrup.

They are the type that have a main supply and a trigger loop with a 9 volt battery for backup. Seems like half the time
you have to wiggle the battery around a few ties of it dos not make good contact with the terminals.

Night all I will let you know the number of battery chirps I get.

Smoke detectors suck for sure. Always the worst timing when they start chirping.

Been there, done that for sure. Did you do the trick where you pull the live power and battery completely and then press and hold the reset button which in many cases should cause the detector to discharge all the power it has sitting around in capacitors and whatnot. I got in the habit of doing that with mine and since then I have not had any problems with the battery changes. When our Beagle was alive those chirps used to give him panic attacks.

I should probably look into mine. Contemplating a few in the shop that connect to my smart home so I can get notified if there is any smoke out there, since the shop is in the back yard.

Did not try that. I will look into that next time. (If there is a next time).
The issue is they have cutouts in the plastic so you can't put the 9v in
the wrong way and it tends to block the one tab from making good contact.

And as usual the batteries always test as nearly new with a voltage check
and they don't even have any swelling like when they are depleted.
So in the past I have just used them in other tools. We don't get many power
failures here any more and that may be why.

And don’t forget to replace your smoke detectors. I think they go bad after about 5 years...whatever magic sauce is used inside to detect smoke goes bad.

Man, yesterday felt like Thursday and when I was shutting down my computer this afternoon it felt like Tuesday. Have the N and S poles changed polarity or something? I’m all off this week.

What’s everyone doing for the big weekend? We hate the chaos, so never travel on the 3-day weekends. Got my nephews coming over Saturday to spend the night, so we’ll be throwing bagels, ice cream and bananas at anything that moves. Monday the wife wants to take a day trip....but I might have to make a fast trip to London. Life is either slow and boring or double booked and on fire.

I'm on vacay starting whenever I leave the office tonight until Tuesday. At some point the Ex will be flexing it's muscles with the trailer in tow

What is this slow you speak of? My work pace is full steam ahead and sometimes off the rails. I have no schedule and it drives my wife crazy cuz she can't even plan when I'll be home each day. #LifeInTheTechLane

No plans so maybe mow the lawn.
If not that maybe go look at houses.

Anyone know any good professional resume writers?
Mine needs a serious rework.

Starting to rip the Honda apart to replace a rear main seal tomorrow and a BBQ on Saturday, no plans otherwise.

Might go to the National Cemetery Monday for the Memorial Day Ceremony, starts at 1pm.

I had a smoke detector beeping only at night so I replaced all of the smoke detector batteries energizer lithiums to shut them up. So far so good!

As far as this weekend plans we have some family guests over for the weekend... Weee! So i'll be keeping myself busy and hope to get a lot done because i'm not hanging out with them. One thing i'm looking forward to is smoking a lot of corned beef into pastrami YUM! But If I run out of projects i'll just disappear into the barn until they're gone. Hehe
