79 bronco locking hood cable
I bought a locking hood cable that doesn’t have a tumbler does anyone know which one I can buy?

Mine is keyed the same as the ignition. Don't know...but would an ignition tumbler work? Number Dummy is sure to drop by and have the answer.

Sorry for the thread high jack I logged in to ask about my locking hood release set up with matching door locks and keys the other day. Are they worth the time installing? Or just resell it,?

D8TZ-16978-A .. Cylinder w/two keyed alike keys-Use with locking hood lock cable / Obsolete

1978/84 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline.

MCDONALD OBSOLETE PARTS in Rockport IN has 1 = 812-359-4965.

Note: The 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco cable is the same as 1975/76 Granada/Monarch.

Clueless ebay seller says this is a door lock cylinder, but with the D8TZ-16978-A part number, it ain't. It's for the hood lock cable (see post #4).
