Distributor cap/rotor question...

Good afternoon!
i was looking to replace my cap and rotor with an msd model. However, when .I looked, there is one available with a spacer, and one without. When looking at the truck, I cant tell, but it looks like a spacer is there. What do you all think?

Also, if I change out the wires, what might you recommend? Accel or Motorcraft, or maybe something else?

Thansk for your input. I'm still a newbie an mechanics, but loving getting to know my truck..

I used the MSD wires. They worked well.

You're all set. If that's your dizzy in the picture, with the blue upper cap, then you already have the spacer which will accept a new Duraspark II cap of your choosing.

You want the cap which works with the spacer, but you shouldn't need to buy their spacer. If you had a points distributor, you would get the spacer and then be able to run MSD or Duraspark caps in place of the smaller points cap.

Are MSD caps and rotors good to use on a daily driver?
