I agree with Hollygreenman - Most likely a static electricity issue from sliding across the seat. You're more likely to see it with cloth seats over leather. Also today's clothing tends to be more polyester blends, so that contributes to it as well. If you're getting shocked when leaving the cab, my suggestion is to grab the door frame before sliding across the seat. This should ground you and prevent the shock.
Side note: I think I've seen school busses with straps that hang down from the undercarriage frame and drag across the ground to dissipate static electricity. You might be able to do this as well if you don't mind something hanging off your truck.
I had that happen on my previous 2015 F350 6.7L also. Every time I would exit the truck and grab the door handle I would get the shock on my hand. I never could figure out what was causing that. I have had a 2018 and now a 2019 and so far no shock.
Ditto. I forgot till I saw this. Has a 2016 and I was always getting shocked. Hated that happening. Now with the new one it never happens
