Fuel sender
Got a 73 highboy, fuel tank behind seat. OReilys cannot find me a fuel sending unit that will work. Guage does work, i can make it move. Any ideas where i can find a fuel sending unit online? Thanks

Check the float (available from Ford & repro parts sellers) before you buy a sending unit.
The float is made of two pieces of brass soldered together. Solder breaks down, gas seeps in, float settles to the bottom of the tank.
Float is the same: 1957/79 Passenger Cars/Trucks; 1961/79 Econoline; 1966/79 Bronco.
