I drove my truck yesterday for ist tme in 3 weeks and check engine light was on. checked tire pressure and 2 was under 55 lbs. Does that trigger check engine light. After shutting it off twice and driving 20 miles it did not come back on.

 

Nope, that just triggers the TPMS light.

 

thanks ford, that's what I thought. Don't know whey it went off after 2 start ups.

 

Check your fuel cap. A loose cap can trigger the check engine light.

 

I did remove cap and retighten it past 3 clicks. It was after the nest restart the light went off. I did not have the cap off for some time, but did have it at dealer for wiring harness replaced on tsb. Maybe the dealer removed it and did not get it tight but I did drive it 200 miles since the did the wiring harness. Thanks for all the inputs. It is a 2017 f250 king ranch 4500 miles on it.
