Is your truck a F250 with vacuum assist or a F350 with hydroboost?
After seeing your post I went out and checked the vacuum line on the front driver and it was dangling in thin air. Reconnected it and instantly the brakes are feeling much better and the acceleration is much better.

Vacuum line on front driver? Where? At one of the front wheels? At the brake booster on the firewall?

There is a small vacuum line that is disconnected when the level kit is installed. It's just behind the drivers wheel pinned to the top of the radius arm. The garage where it was fitted must have forgotten to reconnect it before handing it back over.
I think it's important to point out this has vastly improved the braking for anyone trying to find an answer on this post lift install.
