After seeing your post I went out and checked the vacuum line on the front driver and it was dangling in thin air. Reconnected it and instantly the brakes are feeling much better and the acceleration is much better.

Vacuum line on front driver? Where? At one of the front wheels? At the brake booster on the firewall?

There is a small vacuum line that is disconnected when the level kit is installed. It's just behind the drivers wheel pinned to the top of the radius arm. The garage where it was fitted must have forgotten to reconnect it before handing it back over.

I think it's important to point out this has vastly improved the braking for anyone trying to find an answer on this post lift install.

Surprised there wasn't a check engine light on. Truck will probably run better and get better mileage too now.

I’m impressed you were able to drive 500 miles with no brake assist. You must have a massive right calf now

I would have thought that would be the case too but alas, it wasn't.

Yeah, I now look like that guy off the Liberty Mutual adverts.

In truth, the noticeable difference is in braking distance, not intensity.

The ONLY gas trucks that get hydroboost brakes are DRW's. All SRW gassers have vacuum brakes.

I really miss the hydro brakes that were on my '16 Ram diesel DRW.
