Head swap

I’m sure this been asked before but I just couldn’t find it. Is it possible to swap the heads from a 05 2 valve pI heads onto a 99 non PI block, without to much trouble. Or could I just swap out the non PI engine for a 2 valve PI engine.

Yes, either way.
You will want to use the PCM from the later engine.
