Head Swap

Will the heads from a Mustang GT 3V fit on my F-150 2V? What about the GT-500 heads?

I remember reading about that on a mustang forum. You can swap the 3v heads onto it, but theres no control for the VCT. One guy was talking about setting it up where the pin stays locked and setting the timing a tooth off to counteract the retard in it. It's been a while since I read it and can't remember all the details.
