Fan shroud?

Should my 57 F-100 with a 292 have a fan shroud?

Thank you.

No 1957/60 F100/250 or F350 with single rear wheels has a fan shroud.

Fan shroud

If your water temp has a tendency to go high in the heat of the summer, especially when sitting in traffic, then it's a good idea!!

I'm assuming since dualies (sp) haul more weight they generate more eng. heat?

If I wanted...

Guys,
If I want to install a shroud later, would the closest fit be one from a dually of the same year and series? Example, 1957 F-100 - 350 dually? What would you recommend?

No fan shroud was available for 1957/60 F100/250 & F350 with SRW (single rear wheels).

B7Y-8146-A .. Fan Shroud - Use with DRW (dual rear wheels) - 223/272/292 / Obsolete

1957/60 F350/600 // No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
