Does a 1966 Bronco heater box fit/replace the OE heater box on a 1966 F250? Looks the same. Can't find a '66 F series heater box on line, but several Bronco sites have them.

Bronco heater is completely different, will not work.
1965/66 F100/1100: There are TWO different fresh air heaters.
The deluxe fresh air heater has two *****/cables mounted to a bracket, located under the dash to the right of the steering column.
One cable operates the door that allow fresh air to flow into the heater box. The other cable operates the heater water valve, that is spliced into the inlet to heater core heater hose.
The economy fresh air heater has a manually operated heater water shut-off valve, located in the same place as the cable operated heater valve, no cables under the dash.
Both heaters have the heat control and blower motor switch located on the dash to the right of the choke cable.
Pic: Here's the Bronco heater, it no more looks like either 1965/66 heater than a mule looks like a henway!
