Can anyone help me with a Focus issue?

I figured I would try here since I have gotten the most help over the years from this site, so I hope its not an issue. I have a 2006 focus with a 2.0 in it. It ran and drove fine until I power washed the engine bay to try and locate an oil leak. Not long after I finished hosing it down, I went to start it, and it cranked a couple times and just before it fired up it stopped cranking. And now will no longer crank. I have tried going through all of the relays, but the problem here is all of the info I find on the web is contradicting. One source says the starter relay is under the dash, another source says its under the hood. So needless to say, I tried swapping relays from both locations to no help at all. Is it possible that there may be another fuse inline that I should be looking for? I figure it has to be something like that.

Got no tech help for you, but you might want to check out your local library. Some of them have online access to places like AllData that can be pretty good sources of info.

I would try to find a good schematic and check everything associated with startup. Does it have an anti theft that could have somehow been triggered?

Good Luck,

hj
