Cant seem to find any solid information on this topic. Truck is only drawing fuel from the front tank, no matter what position the tank selector switch on the dash is in. Gauge also will only read that tank is 3/4 the way full when full to the brim. It used to read over the full mark until this issue came up about a month ago. Has anyone had this issue before as well? is it the switch or the valve.
More than likely it is the valve. You might want to check the 15 amp fuse #6 in the in cab fuse panel, as it powers the selector valve. If it blows, the fuel gauge won't work. It also powers the AC clutch.

Need a bit more information. If you switch to the rear tank does the gauge show that level, I'm guessing not? I'm also guessing when on the front tank from 3/4 (full) it starts to go down as normal. As mentioned the switch only controls the valve assembly motor and that is where all the magic occurs. I've never actually seen or heard of a bad switch unless someone was up in that area poking around the wires. In a quiet environment you can have a helper toggle the switch with key on engine off and listen if the valve motor cycles. Good luck and report back with your observations.
