torque converter lockup
1998 e350 super van 7.3 diesel transmission locks torque converter occasionally when just getting started. what is the cause?

Welcome to FTE.

How did you pick this forum?

You need to have a Ford dealer or transmission shop with the proper code reader read the codes from your OBD II. That's a start.

check the trans fluid, my bet is you will find it a quart or two low.

Surprised the factory isn't fixing it. The bronco isn't even released yet
