Glow plug relay (no start) question

I have a 97 PSD 7.3 that was running fine 2 days ago. Today no start. Batteries good cranks good. Tach just bumps but does show rpms while cranking. While checking the relay it clicks when turned on, shows voltage at the 1 large post but not at the other post. there is power at the smaller post to the left with the key on but that is it. How else to test this?

You should get power to both large posts with the key on. Sounds like your glow plug relay is dead. Get a good one, like a standor, western glow, etc. Parts house ones are junk.

I recently swapped out the factory GPR with this one:

Monster White-Rodgers Glow Plug Relay

Before I did this the truck was hard to start if it was cool outside, now it starts the first time even when cold. I would recommend this GPR.
