I am in the middle of replacing my glow plugs, what is the proper torque setting when putting the new ones in?

A quick goog shows 14 foot pounds, but it's really not critical. There's a lot of threads there to hold whatever you give it. Gudentite did fine for me.

My method of torquing them would be to hold the 3/8" ratchet at the head and tighten them until they stop, then go back on the handle and snug them just a hair more, like 1/32 of a turn.

When comparing GP voltage drop between different people's trucks keep in mind that the condition of the batteries and connections could vary the numbers more than the condition of the GPs. When reading voltage in the cab from the power point you'll get a different reading than at the battery because of electrical loads feeding off that same circuit.
