Around $3 in Central Illinois this week, with a lot of variability between stations. Gas is running $2.20-$2.45.
Diesel has been cheaper than gasoline at least twice this year...but not right now.
If you're really interested in what it costs where. Also, they have an app. Filled up at local QT, DTE went from 700 on the first 2 fill ups, this time was 595 DTE. Hmm. Does the fuel have anything to do with DTE? Or maybe the time of year, different additives?
I just got back from a couple of weeks in Iceland, gas (only one Octane grade but they use a different method for that number than we do) and Diesel run about the same price, 233.3 IS Kronor per liter, so at 3.785 liters per gallon and 120 IS Kronos per US Dollar both motor fuels are about $7.35 per gallon. Very expensive place to live and visit but well worth it as the locals are great it is like a different world!
WE3ZS..
we have a house near downtown and a Nissan Qashqai. 1.4 ltr diesel. Awsome performace and mileage. Yes, more expensive over there but pretty much works out in the wash...👍
WE3ZS, Was stationed in Iceland for a year 1994-1995 and it was crazy expensive then. I loved it though!

We were braced for the higher prices and cost of living in Iceland but in reality it really didn't seen too extreme (fuel prices were the biggest difference from back home that we saw) and the experience was well worth the cost of the trip, its an amazing country! It is on our "Repeat visit list". We did the entire ring road all the way around in 10 days in a new Toyota Landcruiser with the turbo diesel, it did great with everything covered in snow and ice above the Southern coast. I'm a big Suzuki car buff, my daily drivers are a Metro (Swift) and a Vitara, I was drooling over the sweet new diesel Jimneys all over the place there.
My local station (Wawa) today was:
Regular 87 = 2.639
Plus 89 = 2.999
Premium 91 = 3.249
Diesel = 3.499

Northern CA Quik Stop store - Diesel - $3.68 / GAL - It is running about .50 per gallon more than Reg Gas. Also, CA passed a road tax deal on fuel and registration earlier this year to fix all of the bad roads (Yeah fix th roa... I mean the train... the BULLIT TRAIN .. YEAH THATS THE TICKET) - Diesel is .20 more per gallon on that deal.
