Delete solution needed

Looking for options on which tuner system would be best for my 2010 f-450 with 6.4.

i want to be able to backup my existing 2010 programming, install the delete programming, and if needed be able to restore my 2010 6.4 stock programming.

i don’t care about power tunes and what not.....

also concerned that sone tuners don’t back up you original tune but instead will install the generic 2008 tune as the normal default tune.

the original 2008 firmware does not have the latest config for reduced power mode based in n heat, realistic hpfp monitoring and other advancements.

any recommendations?

have you looked into Banks? I ran the 6 gun when I had my 6.4. That was a tuner that did not delete the emissions. Pretty sure they had some tunes that would though.

Take a look at the H&S Mini Maxx it will retain your stock and has the delete options and package tunes, runs around $600. They are not supported by H&S any longer ,I have had no issues with mine the last 8 months. You can find them on eBay and amazon plus a few on the internet all new.

I would sell the diesel and buy a gas truck. That's what I did when contemplating the cost of deleting, had a turbo death code P2262? and needed an evaporator core as well. Bye bye diesel. Yes I lost money but best decision I ever made.

I was running SCT on my 6.4 no issues on the engine once you delete the truck won’t run on the stock tube. Might as well run tuned the fuel mpg increase on these engine w the tune is huge on this engine.
