Just got my 2019 6.2L F250 SuperDuty SuperCab Lariat F4X with 3,73 locking axle and tons of extras - everything but the 360 trailer cameras. It took 8 and a half weeks from ordering. It's Magma Red with Tan leather interior. It was dark before I picked it up so no pictures yet. The Magma Red actually looks black in the night lights from the dealership. I did my research on the Premium ESP plans and had a print out of the FloodFord.com rates. I wanted the 7 year, 125K $50 deductible plan. FloodFord's online price was $2795. The dealer said their identical plan was $3400. But after dickering a while they said they could give me the Autonation Ford 7 year, 125K plan with zero deductible at any Autonation Ford and $100 deductible at any other Ford dealer for the $2795. Everything looked good on the walk around - no fit or finish issues. But it was too dark to do any under the truck inspection.
I traded a 2014 Expedition with the 5.4 V8. After driving home my initial reactions are 1) it's a tall climb to get into the truck, hope the n-Fab wheel to wheel steps drop low enough. 2) the power is great, vastly better acceleration than the much lighter Expedition. 3) Interior layout and trim are very nice. The short ride home in the dark wasn't long enough to have any other impressions yet, but on the whole I'm thrilled with my new truck.
Still got home to late for pics. But now with 47 miles on the truck on the freeway going back and forth to work and around town a little bit I have a few more impressions. The ride is very smooth and handles bumps nicely. The power is still impressive. And the color is awesome. The Magma Red looks black under direct light until you get close and then see it's actually a deep red. I'm also impressed with the quietness compared to my old diesel and even the 5.4L Expedition I traded. On the interior, the seats are tan/beige and the dash is a sort of chocolate brown. Pics tomorrow.
Hmm. Chocolate Brown. I have a 2019 Lariat SuperCrew with Camel interior on order that should arrive late Dec or early Jan. Trying to decide on what color interior accessories to order (floor mats and rear seat cover (dog)). Weathertech offers Black, Tan and Brown. Do you have a recommendation? Looking forward to your pic's!
Congrats on your new truck! We are (probably) ordering an F350 on Saturday. Ours will be white with the tan interior, so any thoughts you have on the interior accessorizing appreciated. Also looking forward to pics!
