I had a buddy with a Mach 1. Took him from a dig just like you did, but just like your video shows before it cuts off, he started to reel me back in.

My L was slow as a **** though. Always has been.

yeah i know he was gonna pull on me but had to brag just cause i got him from the start. Havent done anything aftermarket to the engine yet. still stock. I got the lightning about 6 months ago with 9200 miles so im trying to wait till around 20-30k miles before i modify the engine.

 

 

Gotta love the instant grunt down low. L's usually leave the hole really well, but the gearing in the 4R isn't the greatest for holding them off once we hole shot'em.

From a dig = better chance for the L.
From a roll = worse chance for the L.

But that was years ago for me. Now I race my diesels.

A higher stall converter and sticky tires would make it a lil more fun out of the hole.
