rough idle then dies
2006 6.0 140,000 miles
Been running great, and today started running rough, then died while idling and would not restart. It tried to...acted like wasn't getting enough fuel, or was flooded. After sitting for 30 minutes, it started right. Ran, but no power. After about twenty minutes, it died again. During this time, the display on my Edge showed 0 boost, 0 engine temp & 0 trans temp. Then it showed temps but 0 boost.
Where to start diagnosis?
I have FORScan...what PID's should I look for?
Does anyone know a good 6.0 tech in Houston or Kingwood/Porter Texas?

Post your ICP and IPR whilst cranking, we need to know it's actually getting at least 500 lbs ICP to fire the injectors.

I'm assuming you don't have a way to check fuel pressure, but it's a must really, if you own a 6.0
Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?
Do you monitor data at all when driving?
