Master cylinder

I need a rebuild kit for my master cylinder. Ive got a leak that seems to be coming from the boot area. Any recommendations or links to the kit I need. I think the numbers on the side are 02034 that's all I was able to see.

Welcome to FTE!. Rock Auto has several New and rebuilt master cylinders for your F1. You can probably get a kit for yours from Napa or O'Reilly, but there is a good chance that the bore may be too badly pitted to hone out.

Mark is exactly right about this. You could go through all the work of pulling it out, rebuilding it with a kit, bench bleeding it,reinstalling it, bleeding the brake lines and then it could just start leaking again. It happened to me. You might want to just replace it with a new one. I think you will be happier as you will only have to install and bleed the master cylinder and brakes once.

If you are replacing it anyway go with a dual master cylinder and booster. Better safe than sorry.
