well when i got to the plunger... i finnally figured out how these work 100% well a little problem... theres a metal flap on the side that pushes the fluid out the front of the MC... in that flap there are 2 little holes... so i am guessing that is what is the cause of my truck not stoping... here are some pictures of it
thats a good sized (large i think) safety pin just for a reference of the size of the holes... one of them is alot bigger then the safety pin... probablly the size of a thumbtack...
and this last picture is a chunck that is missing from it all....
now if i bought a rebuild kit for it... would it come with that plunger?? or would i be better off with just buying a new MC???
what about adding a dual cyilender mc??? ive seen posts on it... but it just gets confusing at to what i need for it all... i would like to be able to drive my truck before winter if i can....
The rebuild kit comes with the plunger, but i would maybe just get a new master cylinder. The kit is 15.99 at auto zone, and the master cylinder is 19.99. It comes with a life time waranty. It might be worth the extra 4 bucks. part # M37781
well last saturday i ordered the MC from auto zone on saturday...sunday i picked it up... had it all bench bled and hooked up on monday... and today... i finally bled what i needed to bleed... and to my amazment!!!
