This is from Gary's bullnose bible, but might help you out. Maybe the vacuum routings are either the same, or very similar:

Is there anything left of the decals under the hood?
Do you know if your truck was originally a CA equipped, or FED rated vehicle?
Is it an F150, 250 or 350? All would be different.
I have the decal for a CA compliant F350 4wd if that might help you. But as a NON-CATALYST vehicle (8500 GVWR or higher) it won't be the same as an lighter vehicle.

OP lives in Missouri, so how can he determine if it was sold new in CA if he doesn't know the history of the truck from day one?
From the DSO code stamped on the 3rd line-far right of the Warranty Plate. If the code is 71 or 72, it was sold new in CA
