I'm trying to replace the vacuum lines on my 78' f-150, it has a 351m in it, just rebuilt the carb and now I want to replace the vacuum lines, is there any type of diagram somewhere that will show me the placement of all the vacuums lines?
If the lines are there I'm not sure why you need a diagram, just buy a bunch of line and replace them one by one.
If you really need the diagram, I'd recommend buying the shop manuals for the '78 on CD, look for them on Amazon for like $40. I only have them for my '79 and the vacuum routing changed nearly every year for every engine back then as Ford tried to reduce emissions to comply with the new standards.
Even with a diagram, it's not easy. I just dealt with the same thing and mine was terrible because the previous owner had really bungled things over the year.
