Starter issues
I have a 2013 f250 6.2 gas and I'm having an issue with my starter. In the summertime the starter works properly now that is cold out the first crank the starter seems to be just spinning and then it makes a grinding noise when it hits the flywheel turn the key off and the starter works perfectly I replace the starter three times in the last 2 years and it still does the same thing again warmer temperatures they're starter works perfectly and I don't know what the problem could be. If anybody out there that can come up with an idea what could be the problem I appreciate it

try a different Brand of starter.
is the starter being flooded with dirt and road water...
inner fenders missing/damaged... oversized tires allowing stuff to hit starter...
the Bendix is not staying clean or lubricated... it slides in and out of the flywheel..
so in your case.. it sticks on the first try..
