2015 F350 rear camera issues

My '15 rear camera is intermittently acting up. Most of the time I get a clear picture but lately (it got cold here) it has been acting up more and more. I thought maybe it was the connector at the rear but it seems to be clear and clean. Has anyone experienced any similar issues and what did you find?

Based on alot of posts that have been on here, the cameras seem to simply degrade over time. Replaced a 2013 Taurus camera last year that was real cloudy.

Can always unhook your battery to reboot the truck to see if that does anything, but it probably won’t.

My 2015 f250 has been doing the same thing for a year. I usually put the tailgate down and up and it helps. I was looking
this morning at the harness in the tailgate and I think the wire is maybe broken where it loops for you to be able to open and close it. I found a replacement for around $18 on ebay.
