Thanks Folks!
Greetings Y'all,
Almost three years ago, I bought my 1985 Ford Econoline Box Truck w/ 6.9 diesel.
Y'all really helped me get that thing on the road, and running smoothly. Running on the Faucet Electric pump (no 2, because I put the first one too farm from the tank), I've now put over 2000 miles on the truck every month for nearly three years. This truck has helped me start my business, and fed my family for 3 years with very few problems (Normal wear/ford electrical in PNW rain problems excluded). (Though recently developed a new click, but we'll worry about that in the future.) I still can't justify replacing it.
About to get a spare engine and C6 to rebuild and keep on the shelf.
Truly a testament to the value and durability of these old engines. Also a testament for you fine folks. I started my business with absolutely nothing but $300 to my name. I've bootstrapped this every step of the way, and I never would have made it without you. I have now been 100 percent self employed for 2 years.
So Thanks. I really appreciate it.

Hi.. You're welcome. .
We post to work through our mechanical problems, because an idi owner is his own mechanic, and the knowledge is preserved on this here intranet..
Someday, in 2079.. Some young feller
(yea you) (I'm lookin at you future guy) ".
He'll find an antique 1980 something barn find, and it will be like a Model A with wooden spokes to him.." No auto pilot? " where's the hover switch?..
Well he will be able to figure it out by searching these old timey threads where people talk funny ..
Congrats on the gig working out, I myself am self employed.. But not so much to get rich ..
I just like to sleep in late, never been any good at 6am up an atem - so I quit trying and just work for myself . BTW I cuss out the boss all the time - lazy and drinks too much at night - always playing that banjo but still ain't no good..
Good Luck .
