I had weather tech in channel rain guards. Fronts where fine but rears where always loose. Everytime I rolled windows down in back one or the other would fall out into the back seat. Eventually one side fell out while driving and fell to the ground and broke so I just took them all off and have not gone back. Disappointed with weathertech. I double verified they where installed correctly and they where. Just my 2 cents.
Only ones I have. I can get closeups tomorrow if you want.
Those look good. I think I'll definitely get some but I think the smoke color will go better with my magnetic.

Makes since... my previous in channels fit pretty well but that's because I had a supercab. The back windows just being straight are relying just on the tape to keep them up, while the front windows have some support from the bottom.

They looked great but made a little bit of air turbulence noise
Did you have a crew cab or super cab?
I love that you can ride with and/or leave the windows open with the window visors and not get rain in the vehicle, so I've made up my mind to get those. Wondering about the hood visor tho. Feeling like the hood visor is 100% for looks and not sure it looks better. I don't buy that it's very effective at improving the cleanliness of or mitigating damage to the front of the hood and definitely not the windshield. It negatively impacts aerodynamics affecting mpg and noise. I thought it looked great on my old Silverado, but this truck already looks great. Also, the paint on the hood under the visor got messed up anyway. Debris would collect and it wasn't cleaned as well. So leaning towards a no on the hood visor. Maybe the right one would change my mind.
I’m no fan at all of the hood deflector deal at all.
I had a 2008 4dr crew cab with in-channel AVS & they were great for 6yrs but the truck only saw daylight while it was driven lol
years of Sun & heat really works on the dark plastic.
I presently have a 2016 S/Cab with them too BUT I didn’t put the silly stick on ones over the back door glasses.
I also left the rear dummies off both my S/Cab Ford Rangers too as they don’t open.
AVS stick-on for me. I've used them on 4 trucks now over the years with great success. I've heard bad reviews of the in-channel visors of all brands, about them interfering with the windows during operation...so that kept me away from them.
I did have to trim off the tab on the visors that is supposed to go under the truck's mirror trim. There was absolutely no way it was going under the mirror trim.
I’ve seen those on a few trucks around here. They look really good and are the ones to go with. I have the weathertech in channel ones and that was a mistake. Windows are scratched up due to the tight fit in the channel. Can’t remove them now cause the defectors hide the scratches. Ford does not make any deflectors. As far as wind noise, you can always stop the windows at that one terrible sweet spot that will create a weird and loud whistle like noise. I have had deflectors on all my work trucks.
I have them as well and they look great imo. As far as wind noise I've had quieter wind deflectors but I don't have any issue with these. I did have a drivers side snap and I'm waiting for Lund to send a replacement.
Thanks Beast! Do the rears actually overhang onto the painted surface at the back side, or do they just look like that, only adhering to the outer rubber window seal? Do they lay flat on the plastic trim between windows or is there a small gap?

May I ask how it snapped? I have always had the best CS from AVS and K&N.
