Picked up my special order today. F350 Lariat 6.2 4.30s. First time owning a Ford.I have 40 miles on it and I can give you my first impressions. Smooth as silk driving. Stiff but not rough. Has plow/camper package. I do notice the wheel shake over bumps which I've heard these front end tend to do. I'm coming from a silverado. On another note, my 2006 silverado Bose beats the crap out of the B&O but overall love the truck. Wish it wasn't 20* outside though. I drove it home and haven't been back out. Just look at it though the window.

Congrats @Mkos1980 . Pretty sure the next 40,000 miles will be just as enjoyable.
I absolutely loved my Silverado and the 6.0 has been bulletproof but after 13 years I was getting the itching. Selling my 2500 to my brother in law so it'll still be in the family. The 6.0 did great for the camper and didn't give up when towing 4k lbs more then what it was rated for with the boat so I knew the gasser was the one for me.
Sweet looking rig, congratulations on a nice truck. What is your initial impression of the 4:30’s?
I only got on it once real quick and it's a rocket.. at 70mph I'm at a hair over 2k. Which isn't bad. My 4l80e was a 4 speed with 410s and I was doing 2600 at 70mph.
